Description
The decontaminating, anti-bacterial carpet, TreadStep consists of a layer of thirty sheets of polyethylene plastic film covered on both sides by two sheets of protective film that guarantee its integrity during transport, storing and placement.
Every sheet is sprinkled with an appropriate atoxic adhesive that leaves no trace on soles or wheels etc., and an anti-bacterial agent (1,2 Benzoisotiazolin-3-one bit) that is active against the principle organism among which are: Bacteria; Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Psuedomonas putida, Escherichia coil, Enterobacter cloacae, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtills, Proteus vulgaris, Streptococcus lactis, streptococcus facalis, Fungal: Aureobasidium pullulans, Aspergillus niger, Alternaria altrenata, Chaetomium globosum, Cladosportium cladosporoides, Pnicillium notaturn, Yeast: Sacceromyces cerevisiae, Rhodotorula rubra, Endomycopsia albicans.
The sheets are numbered on the side in descending order (from 30 to 1)
Method of use
Place TreadStep on the floor or on the optional metal base only after having perfectly cleaned and dried the area destined for its location, avoiding the formation of any folds or wrinkles, ensuring the perfect adherence of the carpet to the floor surface or optional metal plate.
After positioning TreadStep tear off the first sheet visible, which was applied to protect the carpet. At this point TreadStep is ready to be used by the operator.
To be confident of the results it is recommended that TreadStep be located where it will become an obligatory passage at the entrance to every environment of higher asepsis such as, for example, operating rooms, laboratories, clean rooms etc. making it so that every employee and every piece of equipment has to cross it before entering, avoiding the transfer of bacteria or other contaminating substances.
For correct removal of the single sheets, fold the four corner of the sheet to the centre of the carpet.
Technical features
TreadStep is fabricated with the upper most modern manufacturing processes that give it special solidity and compactness and guarantee that it will be tough and long-lasting.
In addition, TreadStep allows for vertical storage and handling without suffering from the typical problems tied to this product, among which a problems with space and the formation of folds and wrinkles especially during the summer months and problems linked to transport. During the removal of every single sheet of TreadStep not one particle is released from its surface.
Packaging
Each pack of TreadStep comprises 5 carpets of 30 sheets each. The five carpets are inserted in a practical dispenser package provided with a handle that eases carrying. There are also two holes which allow the dispenser to be hung on a wall, making both storage and the lifting of individual sheets easier, and at the same time allowing perfect preservation of the remaining carpets inside the original packaging.
