Following on from the success of independent cleaning validation studies with the EndoWrist® instruments used with the da Vinci® Robotic Surgical System manufactured by Intuitive Surgical Inc, Medisafe is pleased to announce that testing has been completed with a further two leading instrument manufacturers: BOSS Instrument Ltd and ConMed Corporation. The testing undertaken (by SMP GmbH, Tubingen, Germany) has been to successfully validate the automated cleaning process of Medisafe’s SI PCF® using a wide range of critical and complex medical devices. In carrying out these validations, the versatility of the SI PCF® increases yet again and now carries the approval of three world leading surgical instrument manufacturers… with more to follow!
